My goal for this year is to work collaboratively with parents and students keeping everyone informed of classroom activities/events/upcoming due dates. It is very important that we work collaboratively to assure student success.
This year is very exciting for me as I begin my second year as the STEM Lab facilitator. I will be teaching one 8th Grade Mathematics class along with three STEM classes and a Journalism/Creative Writing class (Yearbook). Students will use Google Drive for many of their assignments this year. I will post notes, reviews, worksheets/instruction sheets, and upcoming test dates on the Google Drive sites that I will share with your student. They will also work collaboratively with other students on assignments using Google Drive. I will encourage all students to push their learning with technology. I believe technology is the way of the future and that all students will benefit from the knowledge.
